Are Arklyfe smart switches SAA certified?
Yes — every switch in Arklyfe's StellarTrack range is SAA certified, the mandatory Australian approval for mains-wired devices under AS/NZS standards (230V/50Hz). It confirms each switch is independently tested for Australian conditions and legal for a licensed electrician to install in any state or territory. Uncertified imports can void your home insurance, so always look for the SAA or RCM mark.
Do I need a hub to use Arklyfe smart devices?
For Matter over Thread devices like the StellarTrack switches, you don't need a proprietary hub — just a Thread border router you may already own, such as a HomePod mini, Apple TV or Nest Hub. That single device bridges them into Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa at once. There's no Arklyfe app to install and no subscription.
